Then he
had a wash.
It's over.
I awoke one morning and
wandered sleepily into the
toilet. This was the scene
I discovered. I have never
before seen him actually
kill anything. Normally he
brings home live snakes,
live mice, live rats.
At first I was shocked. I had
to record it, my beautiful
docile cat was in fact a
killer!
We praise them for catching
vermin but we admonish
them for catching a bird.
Yet we eat chicken?
We simply don't have to kill
it ourselves. Would we eat
it if we did have to kill it?
Same goes for lamb, beef
and pork.
In fact he finds it all
quite boring!
