My farm is truly blessed © Kathy Ralph 2011 Goldie Horn has disappeared, it makes me so sad, I have no idea what has happened to her, she just stopped turning up for dinner and I never see her with the others ranging around the farm any more. She was so beautiful and now she's gone. Anyway there is another animal I haven't introduced you to. It's a white elephant! He lives outside my laundry door in the corner. Okay he's not a real elephant but I'll take a picture for you. Jesse reckons I've got a chicken statue behind him. Hey, what's that between his legs? Jesse is right apart from one thing… It's not a chicken statue… Its GOLDIE HORN!!!!! There she is sitting on I don't know how many eggs. I can see four and hello one is broken. A baby has hatched! Hooray I've found her, she hasn't disappeared after all she's hatching her babies. Look there's the empty shell and just on the left you can see a little yellow ball of fluff. Much excitement on the farm. Here are two of the new babies only just hatched. It's ANZAC day the 25th of April and I am being blessed and entrusted with brand new little lives. I wonder how many? The little black one was the first so I shall call it ANZAC. But look there is another. Four so far, one gold two yellow and another black. Two days later and the count is eleven babies! There are yellow ones, black ones, a grey one and a little gold one like it's mum.
