My farm is truly blessed

As we approach the house my two cats
Pushka and Stable Cat greet me usually
with a bored yawn to tell me what has
been happening in their day. Of course not
a lot happens in their day when they sleep
most of it away. It must be dreadfully hard
getting by on only eighteen hours sleep
a day!
I greet them both with a scratch around
their little faces and make my way into
the house.
Its action time now. All the littles
are waiting.
The Cockatoos, Lorikeets, Ducks and
various other feathered friends are
perched in the tree beside the deck using
their sweet voices to call for their dinner.
The two Magpies with their babies are
waiting expectantly on the railing. Hekyll
and Jekyll the two little Butcher Birds
commence their beautiful song as they
juggle for places beside the Magpies.
If I am really lucky tonight, the Kookaburra
may fly in and allow me to gently stroke
his soft plumage as he carefully takes his
strips of meat from my hand.
The horses, Buddy and Lulu will soon be
patiently waiting at the stable gate and
the chickens are making their way to
their beds in their little house to await
their dinner.
