Ducks
The last semi domesticated birds to
be fed are the ducks. The man at the
convenience store keeps stale bread for
pets, so we always have a plentiful supply
for them. I have two types of duck. The
Australian Wood Duck is the one that you
see here. On the left is the male and on
the right the female. In spring these two
presented me with eleven babies. They
are the cutest things you ever did see.
Mum and Dad were very protective, so it
was hard to get a good picture, but I did
get one that will show you just how cute
they were.
