Tawny Frogmouth
This little fellow is also known as Mopoke and Frogmouth Owl.
He's a night bird or as they say nocturnal. I have seen him
several times on the fence when returning home at
night, but never had the camera with me.
Just as this book was ready to publish, I
discovered him late at night sitting on my
pool fence, he generously allowed me
to creep up and snap a couple of
pictures. So he truly is a late
addition. He's really cute
don't you think?
