Leave books in the kitchen. Do you remember when the daily newspaper
was always read at the breakfast table?
This assists children to learn that reading and learning about the news of the
world was interesting and enjoyable. It was a great role model for children.
Leave books and magazines in the lounge and or family room.
Create a comfortable reading nook with a bean bag or cushions alongside a
basket of reading material.
This provides a comfortable spot for relaxing and reading. You can use it as
well and you may just discover that your children will copy your example.
